- I'm Filipino-Chinese.
- I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (BFA CW) degree from the Ateneo de Manila University.
- I have a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business.
- I now work as an Associate Researcher for the Ayala Museum, part of the Arts and Culture Division of Ayala Foundation, Inc.
- I love reading books. Among my favorite authors, divided by selected genres, in this ever changing list, are:

- I also love watching television series. Among my favorites TV shows are: Criminal Minds, The Walking Dead, Law & Order, Law & Order Special Victims Unit, Battlestar Gallactica, Firefly, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
- Playing video games is another thing I love to do. I especially like RPG games like Dragon Age, Final Fantasy, and Persona. I will always be a 'forever noob' player of Dota 2. I play games on my PS3, Nintendo 3DS, and Acer Aspire laptop computer.
- I enjoy listening to music, especially pop, country-pop, and k-pop. Among my favorite artists and music groups are Taylor Swift, Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum, Lenka, Demi Lovato, Girl's Generation, f(x), Davichi, T-ara, and IU.
I have been involved in organizing a number of bookish endeavors, namely:
- United We Read: the 2012 Filipino Readers' Conference (Filipino ReaderCon)
- Read Lit District: the 2012 Philippine International Literary Festival
- Poptastik Pinoy: the 2013 Philippine International Literary Festival
